Almost Back

• It's only a few more days, now, until the doors are back open here at TATI Cycles. Grand plans to build a loft, resurface the walls, and lay a new floor were, well, a bit too grand for early spring. And so these projects will have to happen bit by bit, before and after hours over the next few months.

  On the other hand, significant progress has been made in other areas. Inventories are better for both racing and commuting basics. There are demo bikes now from Storck, Dolan, and Argon18. The backlog of wheelbuilds and overhauls is much more manageable. And the showroom has been shuffled about yet again.

  P.S. That would be ESS's super taco'd wheel. The toughest kid on the team was on the losing end of an encounter with a Buick yesterday. (This, on the tail end of an especially physically taxing thirty six hours.) And nobody was surprised when she showed up the next morning, ready to ride. And for the fourth day in a row, I was dropped.
