  The TATI Minivelo is the perfect neighborhood commuter for smaller and medium sized riders. It's nimple, affordable, minimalist, and low maintenance. It comes fully equipped with the most important commuting accessories: a rear mounted kickstand, durable metal fenders to keep your clothes clean, a steel rack to carry books and groceries, and an upright riding position paired with a short wheelbase.

  The Minivelo isn't for everyone. Riders over 5'10" and 180lbs should probably consider something larger and/or sturdier (like the TATI Model T or a vintage Schwinn). Commuters who travel further than 5km at a time should seek something with higher gearing. And riders who really need to rely on a quick and durable folding mechanism should consider something like a Brompton.
