Today a neighbor brought in her mint condition 1984 Panasonic PR-500. These were sold only in Japan, and only through finer pro shops. This one was built by I Love Cycle Aki in Tokyo. The PR-500 is a great example of the pinnacle of Japanese semi-custom club style lugged steel club racers. Hers has a set of beautiful handbuilt hoops: 32h Mavic Monthlery Route rims laced to very supple D'allessandro Nuovo Pro sewups. The drivetrain is Shimano 600, and it'd finished with a white Lady Turbo saddle and a Nitto cockpit.
