Kreitler. Finally.
- For many months now, the young riders of Team TATI have had to put up with my haranguing about traditional handling skills, perfect balance, and a symmetrical spin. Thankfully, most have since become rollers converts and are slowly but surely improving this crucial skills. In fact, thanks to a number of factors (Goldsprints, the number of crashes in local crits, retro nostalgia) rollers do seems to be gaining in popularity over trainers here in Chicagoland.
It's taken far too long, I know... but TATI is finally an official Kreitler rollers dealer! The first order is on its way, and I would strongly encourage those of you who are thinking about making the leap to consider Kreitler when making your purchase decisions. Most of you know that I am a fan of the Minoura rollers: they are inexpensive, lightweight, portable, and made primarily from metal components. They're a better value that the other budget offerings. But if Minouras are the Toyota Camry of the rollers world, Kreitler might be the Mercedes Benz.
