With the holiday comes a reprieve from office work this week, and thanks to the hustling of (mainly) Dan and (kind of) Jesse, the shop is something approaching clean and organized, if not well stocked. There are a handful of builds yet to complete, but the work is not so onerous that it requires complete isolation. And so, the newspaper has been removed from the windows.

I can't commit yet to anything mechanical of custom, but if you're looking for a roll of rim tape or a tube or a cable, feel free to come by. Some autumn/winter clothing has also arrived, with more from Ibex and Craft following next week. Please also understand that as there are still bikes to be built and deadlines to be met, it's not the chattiest place in the neighborhood.
Also, to you cyclocross holdouts: Now that you have seen how beautiful (and light!) and fast the team bikes are, well, it's technically never too late to build one up. Understand that you're looking at approximately a three week lead time, which will get you in on the tail end of the Chicago Cup, but will give you plenty of time to roll around in the snow until April.
P.S. If you've seen the team cross bikes around town, mine is the goofy friction shifting Campagnolo-on-moustache bars one. It has so far given me seventeen smiles, one set of burning lungs, and a bloodied left shin.
