Brian's aero body was suffering from some serious cramps for the bulk of his race, the Pro category international distance. He persevered, however, to pass five on the run and take 23rd and some well deserved rest.
Elsewhere in Hagueville, Brian's sisters Catherine and Stacy each won their respective age groups in the sprint distance, with Stacy taking the women's overall sprint title.
